NEW ARRIVAL:  SWEETIE II is appropriately named as we are finding her to be one sweet and friendly Beagle girl.  She never passes up an opportunity to walk up to people for pats and belly rubs. This 7-year-old young lady is as alert and active as most of the other beagles in our rescue.  Going up and down stairs, riding an elevator and walking on hardwood or tile floors is no challenge for her.   She does well in her crate and enjoys sleeping in.  She enjoys the company of other dogs and will bark out a "hello" when she sees another dog on the television.  SWEETIE is relaxed and affectionate and has not displayed any anxiety during her transition period from transport to being in her foster home.  You will always see SWEETIE wagging her tail, letting everyone know just how happy she is because she knows her dream of finding her forever home may be just around the corner!   One of her favorite times is taking a trip to the dog beach!  All in all, you can say that SWEETIE is an easy girl to please and likes just about anything except....sanitation trucks!
