SPECIAL NEEDS
Tobert is a lovely little nugget who came to us extremely fearful but has made really fantastic progress! He needs to be with other dogs who can make him feel secure and help him to model their confidence. He is no longer too fearful for his foster parents to take him out in public and he interacts well with people who are gentle. They once had an opportunity for him to be with a number of youger children and he enjoyed their soft petting. He really enjoys excursions to places with his foster parents and they take him to restaurants and pubs where dogs are allowed and he enjoys meeting people who are interested in meeting him. Tobert needs a family who can continue to show love and patience when he is anxious and who can be at home with him most of the time. His foster family works so they take him to a doggie daycare where he has a great time! They also sometimes bring him and their other two beagles to to the office - be sure to check out the picture below of Tobert with his beagle siblings. :)
