Update-12/11/22-The foster family for Bud says he is a pretty laid back, calm dog. He gets along with their other dogs and ignores their cat. Bud loves being near his humans. He does have some separation anxiety when left alone. He is doing well with house training and will hold it a long time rather than go in the house. He likes walking on leash but may pull on leash if he gets a scent of another animal.
Bud II is sweet as mollasses! His personality is very relaxed and restful and he's incredibly gentle. He is one of those rescues who is just so grateful for anything good coming his way. He enjoys a slow walk to sniff about but seems to prefer being with people wherever they are, and he loves affection. Other than getting some pets and ear scratches, Bud is actually pretty low maintenance and just needs some soft places to sleep. He does have the beagle appetite though and can be a bit too interested in the garbage can - however, he is very sensitive and takes corrections to heart. In his current foster home, Bud learned the dog door very quickly and has not had one single accident in the house. He is also crate trained and dog friendly. Bud has been to our veterinarian for neutering, cherry eye repair and heartworm treatment. He is recovering very well from all of that with no difficulty.
