He is playful but a little shy and what a cutie! Brody is a great size at just about 19 lbs. He came to us from Mississippi where he and quite a few other beagles had been confiscated from an owner who kept them in outdoor boxes with chain link fence for flooring. What a different life he can look forward to now! Brody does well with other dogs and loves to play with them, but he is a little shy with people. We are very optimistic that he will warm up soon - especially with his beagle appetite for food. We've introduced him to a laid back cat and he passed with flying colors... which is good because his foster home has a cat. Brody will just be settling in and we are also going to need to treat him for those nasty heartworms. He's a treasure though!
