Lacey has all you would hope for in a young beagle -- she's energetic, cuddly, and such an incredible beauty!  She loves the cats and other beagles in her foster home and sleeps well in her crate at night, though would probably prefer to sleep on the bed with her human :). Lacey has also been making straight A's in house training and so far has had no accidents at her foster home! She is still a puppy and can become bored and a little anxious at times when her foster mom is busy working, but then she will come up and put her paws on mom's leg and get a back scratch and all is well. If crated during the day, she can sometimes become vocal, so it would be best if she did not have to be left alone for long. Lacey LOVES toys and has a funny tag fetish -- she will tear the tag off of every toy. Although she does well on leash, she can be skittish in new situations and startle at loud noises, which makes her a flight risk. Lacey would be much safer in a fenced yard -- and one which is secure... as she did escape out of her foster family's fenced yard at one point! She does love to run and play fetch in the backyard. She can also be a little nervous when meeting new people and appears to warm up quicker to females.
