About Bebe II | |
|
|
Bebe is very loving and has a perfect amount of energy for a dog her age. She absolutely adores cuddles, belly rubs and hiding stuffed toys. She is not fond of cars passing by on walks and prefers shortish walks in a peaceful park where she can really have a good sniff. Bebe is okay with most dogs but not all, however she would really do best in a home where she has the family all to herself and they are home a lot. She's not perfect with house training especially if left alone, but will go on a pee pad if left out for her. Bebe was rescued from some real trouble - people saw her being attacked by another dog and came to her aid. When we got her to Florida we immediately discovered that she had glaucoma. Although we tried to save her right eye, it was causing her too much pain and so was removed. The left eye is doing very well. She also has a mass on her bladder. We were so glad to be able to rule out Transient Cell Carcinoma, which is the most common type of bladder cancer in dogs. However, she shows no signs of discomfort so we have chosen to treat holistically and monitor for any changes. Bebe is a lovely senior who has much to give and is a delight to live with.
