ADOPTION PENDING
UPDATE:  10/31/23 - Suzette is a gorgeous and VERY active young Beagle.  Her ideal home would have an equally active and non-stop play kind of canine companion.  She needs to have a very active canine brother or sister, long walks and preferably a fenced in yard to allow her to get her exercise on.  She's listed as vet's best estimate at 2 years old, but her activity level and funny personality are very puppy-like.  If you have the right environment and can keep up with her - please fill out an adoption survey and let's chat.  She deserves the absolute best family that will enjoy her for all of her wonderful self!

NEW ARRIVAL!
This gorgeous young beagle girl is not as big as she looks in her pictures - she's only about 19 lbs! Suzette was found as a stray in rural Louisiana and a very kind woman picked her up and took her home. She did her best to find an owner but with no success. We are glad she contacted us! Suzette remained with her finder for about two weeks until we could make arrangements for a Florida foster and her transport here Suzette is an active, playfull little girl who loves to run and jump about. She is  is great with other dogs, cats and kids. Suzette is doing well with housetraining but she has learned the dog door in her foster home and can go outside to a fenced yard along with the other dogs whenever she wants to. She sleeps quietly in her crate at night - in fact she seems to be a fairly quiet dog so far. Suzette is heartworm negative and will be spayed on October 9th. She should be ready for a sleepover after she recovers from her surgery.
