If ever there was a senior you wanted to resuce - this is THE ONE! And rescuing Buster Brown has been a real gift to us! He has absolutely revelled in his freedom and good care and his happiness is contagious! He came from a County seizure of 56 dogs who were all living in deplorable conditions, most of them in filthy crates and many emaciated. He was the only beagle but we were sure glad to take him. Amazingly he is heartworm negative. He did have an abscessed tooth we had removed and had several lumps and bumps which we have determined were benign. He has just recently moved to a foster who lives in a high rise apartment and he's doing so well!  He's quite friendly with all people and dogs he meets going up and down the elevator. He's happy with soft dog beds and quiet company, but he has some pep in his step when he goes for walks with Mom and the other dog. If your heart is open to a senior then Buster Brown would definitely make you happy.
