ADOPTION PENDING
Nichole is a total joy! She's a very happy little girl and seems more like a 4-year-old than a 10 to 12-year-old. She loves to curl up with her foster siblings, or at at least when they will let. She probably spent much of her entire life with Pippy (also on our website) in an outdoor, elevated box where they were kept until a few times a year they were let out to hunt. Nichole delights her foster family with her conversations and her little howl which is absolutely the cutest thing ever. She likes to follow the other dogs around the yard investigating and sniffing everything. She has done pretty well with house training when she's taken out on a regular schedule. Nichole currently sleeps in her crate at night and only puts up a fuss when she first goes in, but then settles down. She is VERY food motivated and must be crated at mealtimes or she would be eating all the other dogs' food. And be prepared for her beagle begging!! Nicole is heartworm positive and we will be starting her treatment the first of December. We plan to be able to spay her first but she has already had a dental as her teeth were so bad. Our hope for little Nicole would be a home with another dog that she can buddy up with in a fenced yard and snuggle with for naps and bedtime.
