Miss Salt and her siblings came to us from North Georgia. Their momma, Silly Sweetie, has been a terrific mom and all of her puppies are happy and playful. They were originally supposed to be taken by another rescue that, at the last moment, changed their mind. There was no other hope for this Beagle family so, as soon as we heard their story, we stepped up and agreed to bring them to Florida. Instead of being in a cold kill shelter they are now learning how to enjoy their new lives at the home of our foster parents.
We have listed them as “almost Beagles” because their momma, is not 100 percent Beagle. However, since the pups sniff like Beagles, eat like Beagles, and make Beagle noises, we are confidents they will fit the "almost Beagle" category to a tee!
Miss Salt has already been spayed, micro chipped, received her first 2 puppy vaccinations and is being de-wormed. Miss Salt's adoption donation is $300.00 and we will ask for a $100.00 refundable deposit once you have completed the Adoption Survey and the interview process.
2/22/11 UPDATE ON MISS SALT:
This pretty lady is learning and growing every day! She is full of personality and wants to meet everyone she comes in contact with...sweet and friendly just come naturally to this pretty girl. Miss Salt is as playful a pup as there ever was. She loves squeaky toys, rope toys and will even create her own toys, carrying a stick larger than she is through the yard! She is full of curiousity so a watchful eye is needed when she is inside...her curious beagle nature rules! Miss Salt does have loads of puppy energy and will need lots of exercise to keep her healthy and happy. A bonus feature of Miss Salt is that she is a GREAT snuggler. She loves people and when it's time to nap she will take the nearest lap!
Foster mom is working on basic commands and house breaking. Miss Salt is showing that she has what it takes to be a very good girl! Don't miss your chance to meet this precious beagle pup. She is ready and waiting to find her forever family.
