Miss Barbie and her siblings came to us from North Georgia. Their momma, Silly Sweetie, has been a terrific mom and all of her puppies are happy and playful. They were originally supposed to be taken by another rescue that, at the last moment, changed their mind. There was no other hope for this Beagle family so, as soon as we heard their story, we stepped up and agreed to bring them to Florida. Instead of being in a cold kill shelter they are now learning how to enjoy their new lives at the home of our foster parents.
We have listed them as “almost Beagles” because their momma is not 100 percent Beagle. However, since the pups sniff like Beagles, eat like Beagles and make Beagle noises, we are confident they will fit the "almost Beagle" category to a tee.
Miss Barbie has already been spayed, micro chipped, received her first 2 puppy vaccinations and is being de-wormed. Miss Barbie’s adoption donation is $300.00 and we will ask for a $100.00 refundable deposit once you have completed the Adoption Survey and the interview process.

Miss Barbie is bright eyed, curious and cute as a button. She is very playful with the "big" dogs, and follows them around copying their "big dog" activity. Smart indeed, she already knows to "sit" for treats. Miss Barbie loves being outside, and already delights in running through ferns and exploring all those good outdoor scents with her beagley nose!. After all the exploration, she likes to work on her tan in the sun.
She is doing excellent on her house training. She likes bananas and puppy biscuits.
Miss Barbie wants to be a decorator when she grows up. She rearranges her blankets and those of the other dogs as well as my throws. She has decided my kitchen wallpaper needs updating.
She will roll over for belly rubs and likes to tag along with the dogs or her humans. She does not like her crate but we are working on that. More to come as this little gal grows!
