We think Joshi may have originally come from a puppy mill and was rescued by another organization in Citrus County. But then that group took in more dogs then they cold take care of and were forced to surrender many of the dogs they were trying to save to the County Animal Control. Joshi was at the shelter for over 2 months as the case worked its way through the legal system. Of course, once the case was decided Joshi was already out of time and we had to pull him immediately out of the shelter.

Joshi is a little skittish but already getting better after just a few hours of freedom. We would imagine that Joshi has spent most, if not all, of his life in kennels and cages so he is ready to explore his new world with gusto. We can't wait to see this little boy blossom into a fantastic family pet
