Mike was seized, along with several other dogs, from his owner as part of an animal abuse investigation.  Of course, the owner is free while Mike and his friend Jon were scheduled to be euthanized.

Mike is a sweet and gentle boy who is craving love and attention. He loves to be held in your lap and cuddled, and he is just the right size. He really enjoys being outside and definitely has a Beagle's nose, but he is well behaved inside--especially for a dog that has probably had very little experience with being inside! His housetraining has reached a point with no accidents now for quite a while; he is doing great! He is also crate trained. He gets along fabulously with the other dogs in his foster home. Mike doesn't really know about toys, but he is learning lots of good things about life when a dog is loved and well cared for.  He will be a wonderful companion for a loving family.
