TED IS ON A SLEEPOVER WITH A POTENTIAL ADOPTER!!
07/10/13 UPDATE: Ted is doing really well in his foster home! Although he is still timid, he will approach his foster family to be petted from time to time. Ted really enjoys the company of the other two dogs in his foster home and it is a joyful thing to watch him play and have fun with them. He sleeps in a crate with one of those dogs - indicentally another Beagle who was adopted from SEBR - (perhaps they have a lot to talk about!). Ted does well on walks along with the other dogs, but his foster mom is helping him to not be afraid when they encounter unfamiliar people. Ted is making steady progress and, like many of the other timid Beagles SEBR has rescued, we are confident that with patience and love he will learn to trust and be a happy little dog.
NEW ARRIVAL: TED is one of 6 Beagles that came to us from a rural shelter in Louisiana, where they had little chance of being adopted or saved. They were all dropped off in the overnight box at the shelter by their owner without any reason why. TED and his Beagle friends all seem happy and friendly little hounds, just as Beagles are bound to be. We shall find out about Ted's personality after he spends a little more time in his foster home.
