MICA IS ON A SLEEPOVER WITH A POTENTIAL ADOPTER!
UPDATE: Mica is just settling into her foster home, but we can already report that she is a playful little thing and she is doing fine with the other dogs in her household. Mica has entertained her foster mom by creating her own little play house on the bed, burrowing under the sheets and pillows. In quieter moments, she will cuddle with foster dad on the couch and nap with her head in his lap. She loves affection from people and will give kisses in return. Mica is brushing up on her housetraining which was just a little rusty and foster mom is working on getting her comfortable in a crate - always a helpful tool! Mica also has the beagle appetite for food.
NEW ARRIVAL: We found MICA being given away for free on Craig's List - a risky place for dogs! MICA seems very playful and I did notice there was a cat and children in the house when I went to pick her up. Unfortunately, MICA did test posiitive for Heartworm disease and will have to be treated prior to being adopted. MICA came to us with no name, no collar, no vaccinations no toys, but lots of fleas. She is already settling into her foster home and doing great!
