AUDREY HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING
Update: Audrey has been examined by our veterinary opthamologist who does not think there is any permanent damage to her eyes. He believes that the cloudy spots were caused by scratches to both eyes that became infected and not treated. Pressures on both eyes are within normal limits but her eyes are dry and it does not appear that she is producing tears. Audrey will need medicated eye drops for the next four to six weeks and will be reexamined then when we hope there will be a marked improvement. In the meantime she is doing very well in her foster home where she has become BFF with Lacey one of the other beagles. Paws crossed that aAudrey will regain her full sight!
New Arrival - AUDREY
Little Audrey is a bit timid but we are confident that she will flourish once she settles into her foster home. She will also be taken to the veterinary eye specialist so that we can determine more about the sight impairment she has and how we can help Audrey. Fortunately she is heartworm negative! We are glad to have been able to save this dear one!
