Hi Beagle Friends!
I am one of Missy’s puppies. I was born on Jan 31, 2017 and should be ready to be adopted early May 2017.
Adoption
Potential adopters will be asked to complete the Adoption Survey on our web site (www.sebr.org) and, once approved, make a $100 deposit.
We would remind you that although Missy is a Beagle the puppies are Beagle Mix and we really do not know who daddy was. So we must leave it up to you to judge if the puppies are Beagley enough for you.
The adoption donation for the puppies shall be $375.00 which includes spay/neuter, microchip and having the appropriate vaccinations for their age, when adopted.
If you have any questions about adopting x please contact us at Saveabeagle@sebr.org.
STORY: Dayle, a very kind lady in Louisiana noticed a beaglre mom (Missy) several times crossing a road through the cane field in a very rural area. She was limping and thought to have been hit by a car. After speaking with the surrounding homes she finally was able to locate the property where Missy had her pups under a utility shed. She took the mom and pups to the vet where they found the mom, Missy, had a good amont of debris in her stomach, probably because she had nothing else to eat. Missy's 4 puppies were found to be healthy and surgery was performs on MIssy where they remove gravel, rubber and other material from her stomach. Missy fully recovered from her surgery and the pups are healthy and happy.
Dayle, through her friend Loretta who is involved in rescue, contacted SEBR and we arranged to pickup Missy and her pups on our next transport trip to Louisiana.
A great big THANK YOU to Dayle, Loretta and Allison for finding and saving Missy and her 4 puppies and working with us to to hold them until we could get them back safely
to SEBR in Florida!
