ADOPTION PENDING
UPDATE 10/23/22- When Spike first arrived at the foster home he was quite shy and timid. He has slowly been gaining confidence and has started coming to the foster parents to be near them and snuggle. He is doing well with house training. He gets along with their other dogs. Spike will do well with a family who will give him time to adjust to a new home knowing that he may be very timid initially.
NEW ARRIVAL!
Spike has arrived from Alabama and he is just about as cute as they come. He was fortunate enough to be with a foster in Alabama before he came and she told us he is affectionate with people and good with other dogs. We could tell though that he will need to decompress a bit in his new Florida foster home before we see his real personality as he was pretty shy and uncertain coming off the transport. Spike definitely grows more comfortable with some petting and snuggling up close to a kind and gentle human though. He is heartworm positive so he will need to be treated and have a bit of time to recover before he goes on sleepover. We will share more about Spike after he's had some time to settle in.
