ADOPTION PENDING
Cheyenne has a real Cinderella story -- from starving and sickly, wandering about in rural Louisiana to now -- perhaps a little pudgy but with a soft, shiny coat and soaking up love and affection like a sponge! Her nickname is Slow Mo because she's pretty low energy and she has a quiet and very gentle personality. But Cheyenne can get pretty darn excited about chow time and when the food dish is coming her way she can certainly dance and sing! She has a lovely beagle howl. She's fine with other dogs but people are really more her thing. Cheyenne can be quite content in a crate and has done very well with house training. She's also pretty good on a leash as long as you're not in a hurry. She really seems to want to please her humans. She tested positive for heartworms but came through her treatment like a champ and her spay surgery (which had been put off until she was healthier) is scheduled for mid July. Cheyenne will be ready for a sleepover with you towards the end of July.
