Jeeves has the most engaging personality even if he's not all beagle. He is friendly and affectionate with people and loves to give kisses. He has met many different dogs since he has been with us and has done quite well with all of them but one. You may enjoy the videos we've included, one of which is Jeeves playing with Hubbard. So Jeeves would do well in a home with other friendly dogs, or because he loves his humans, he could be an only dog as well. He really likes going on walks, but could use a bit more training as he gets pretty excited about the whole experience. He is a great snuggler, loves to get belly rubs, enjoys playing with toys and really seems to delight in being with children. Jeeves can tolerate being crated for several hours during the work day - although he would most likely howl for the first 5 or 10 minutes before he settled down to wait patiently. He has been treated for heartworms and is well past his activity restriction. Jeeves had been pretty neglected when he first arrived, but his coat has improved radically with good nutrition and a fish oil supplement. This dog will definitely be a treasure to his family!
