ADOPTION PENDING


Gracelyn was found wandering in the woods around the first week of May, and she evidently had been on her own for a good while. Her foster family soon noticed that with her sunny personality and moderate activity level, she had very little difficulty settling in to their household. She enjoys being a couch potato with their older dog or playing with the younger ones. Gracelyn does well on car rides and has improved her leash walking skills over the time they've had her. She's also doing pretty well in her crate and is coming along with her house training. Gracelyn will bark and howl when the other dogs do, but that is only when someone comes in the front door. She is very affectionate and quite happy to nap near the family during TV time. Gracelyn tested positive for heartworms but she has been treated and is recovering very well. She will still need to have her activity restricted until after the first week of August but Gracelyn is ready for a sleepover.
