ADOPTION PENDING
UPDATE: 10/15/23 - Lollipop's foster Mom cannot say enough great things about her. Here are just a few updates - she's gotten an A+ on house training. She quickly and easily learned the doggy door. She takes great naps inbetween potty breaks and meal time. So far, she's only alert barked when the mail was delivered, other than that she's been quiet. She pulls a little on the leash but given how quickly she learns - it won't take her long to get the hang of some nice long Beagle-walks. She will do fine with a dog in the home or as an only dog. She's super sweet, loves to be around her human. She's about 6 years old - that's what the vet thinks as an estimate and a tiny girl at 17 lbs. She's all done with her heartworm treatment and has no restrictions! She's a cute, tiny, tail-wagging Beagle. She's fine sleeping in a dog bed or in bed with you. She's allowed on the furniture in her foster home and enjoys a nice cuddle. She doesnt get into mischief but would enjoy a solitary stroll out the front door if allowed to "exit" without her leash on. She tries to show you those adoring Beagle eyes to get human food, but we don't allow that. She is ready for a sleepover now - let us know if she may fit into your family.
Lollipop is the sweetest thing in the world as long as you are holding a cheeseburger. She'll look at you with those eyes and pretend she just wants to cuddle, but we all know she wants the cheeseburger. Truthfully, she does love a good cuddle and loves to be held. She's only been in her foster home a short while though, so is still just a little timid. She learned the doggie door at her foster home right away and so far hasn't had any accidents in the house. When lollipop was first fostered in Louisiana though it was apparent that she had not spent much time in a home but she is coming along nicely. Lollipop is fairly low energy and loves to nap in comfy places, but she can occasionally get frisky and will grab a toy out of the toy box to play with. She is still getting to know the other dog in the foster home. They are friendly and interested but not quite ready for a romp. She also does well with cats. Lollipop has been sleeping through the night in a doggie bed beside her foster mom's bed and she is crated when home alone and does very well in her crate. Lollipop tested positive for heartworms but has already been treated. She is spayed and ready to go on a sleepover.
