ADOPTION PENDING


Jaunty has just arrived in Florida and so far he is a fabulous guest in his foster home! He's had no accidents in the house and will lie down in his bed while the family eats their meals. He eats his meals in his crate and waits quietly to be let out. Jaunty gets along well with the tiny 10 lb dog whose house he is sharing, and when she has told him and no uncertain terms that she is the boss, he accepted it with grace. He's also been gentle with the cat and has tried to play with him. His young, fun, playful personality is just starting to emerge. He likes running full speed outside, chasing the little dog or being chased by her. He's starting to play with squeaky toys and will stealthily sneak some into his crate. Jaunty is sometimes a little timid with his foster mom and dad, but then he is also clingy, following them around the house. He clearly delights in being petted, loved on and near you...or ON you! Jaunty is heartworm negative and will be ready for a sleepover around the 17th or 18th of August.
