ADOPTION PENDING
Gator is such a happy and confident boy! He quickly adapted to his foster home and made friends the other beagles there. He is not very interested in playing with them, but content to be around them all. He likes squeaky toys and roaming around the yard. He now goes to the back door and “huffs” when he has to go out. Gator is content in his crate and will go in upon request and sleep quietly as long as he’s close to foster dad. When his family has to go out, Gator is also crated and does not bark. He does have a loud bark when he wants to bark (generally when excited), but he’s pretty quiet the rest of the time. We are working on helping him to lose weight but he is fairly agile and active despite his size. He’s definitely accustomed to eating more and being fed from the table and seems a little confused when he's not offered “people food". Gator is neutered and heartworm negative, but we will do blood work and possibly a dental if he needs it before he goes on sleepover.
