ADOPTION PENDING
Morgan may be tiny in size, but she has a huge sweet heart and a big personality. Happiness for Morgan is long walks where she can use her nose to sniff all the smells followed up with a warm snuggly spot on the couch for a nap. She rides well in the car and prefers to ride shotgun, so she can be right next to you. Morgan does well on leash and does not necessarily need a fenced yard, but she can easily get over a regular height chain link fence so would need a 6 foot fence. We think that Morgan was not exposed to much in her earlier years as she's not used to lots of bustling commotion like you would find at a farmer's market or a pet store on a busy day. Sometimes on walks, she will shy away from fast moving cars; this instinct was likely developed as a stray living on the streets. She is initially shy with new people. If a stranger goes to interact with her, she'll take a very humble, submissive position of going low to the ground. It doesn't take much to have her trust new people though and whoever feeds her will quickly become her best friend. Morgan is good at interacting with other dogs and can be playful. She also does well with the cats in her foster home. She crates well at night with no fuss and her house training has been excellent - she will go to the door when she needs to be let outside. Morgan did test positive for heartworms and we will be scheduling her treatment at the end of January.
