About Maisie Bell's Puppy - Jacob | |

READY FOR ADOPTION LAST WEEK OF NOVEMBER 2024
Jacob was born on September 11, 2024. His mother, Maisie Bell is a purebred beagle and is an absolutely wonderful mom! It is NOT certain who Jacob's daddy is, but it is POSSIBLE that his daddy was Bacon who is also a purebred beagle. All nine puppies are looking very beagley at this writing (4 weeks) and are just the right weight. We will be able to update with more information as they grow. Jacob was one of the puppies who had to be bottle fed as with nine puppies and such tiny mouths they had trouble latching on. He was the last to be able to nurse consistently (at 2 weeks) and was the smallest of the puppies. However, he has outgrown that status now at 4 weeks!
Maisie Bell and Bacon were surrendered by their owner who was in a very difficult situation and could no longer care for them. They were both healthy and have lovely temperaments. When Maisie Bell came to us we at first thought she was overweight, but quickly discovered she was pregnant.
The puppies will be ready for adoption by 11/22/2024. At that time they will be approximately ten (10) weeks old. They will have been spayed and neutered the previous week and will have had 2 of their 3 Distemper/Parvo vaccinations and a Bordetella vaccination. They will be microchipped and dewormed for any intestinal worms. ADOPTERS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR GETTING THEIR PUPPY TO THEIR VETERINARIAN FOR THE 3RD DISTEMPER/PARVO AND, WHEN THE VETERINARIAN SAYS THEY ARE OLD ENOUGH, ALSO THEIR RABIES VACCINATION.
A $100 DEPOSIT WILL BE REQUIRED IN ORDER FOR US TO HOLD A PUPPY FOR YOU. PLEASE SUBMIT AN ADOPTION SURVEY IF YOU ARE INTERESTED SO THAT WE CAN APPROVE YOU AND THEN WE WILL GIVE YOU INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING THE DEPOSIT ON THE PUPPY WHOM YOU CHOOSE. THANK YOU FOR ADOPTING FROM A RESCUE!
