Hi, they call me Maverick and I just arrived from Wakulla County.  I am a fun loving Beagle who loves to eat, let you give me treats and let you pet me all that you would like.  I don't mind sharing my kisses with you and I am under 25 # so I can easily sit in your lap while you pet me.  Just to let you know, thunder and lightning don't bother me at all.

I am not use to having a lot of toys but I love my "cookie man" and like to take it with me wherever I go.

I have worked really hard at not having any accidents and I will go to the door or signal when I need to go out.  My foster parents say that I am house broken, but I really don't remember breaking any houses since I have been here.

I am looking for a new home where I can be loved and safe.  I like other dogs but am not sure, yet, how I feel about cats.

Oh and if you are thinking or bringing 2 wonderful Beagles into your life check out my brother Cowboy. I know we may not be able to stay together but that sure would be nice.
