Mia is a sweet little beagle girl that was adopted from us about two years ago (May 2013). Her owner have been going through some really tough times and, much as they hated to, they have surrendered Mia back to us. She is adjusting well in her foster home where there are two other dogs. Mia gets along just fine with everybody.  She has only used her beagle voice a couple times, & that has been when the family has home & she's greeting them. Her housetraining only needed a small tweak and she's into the routine again. Of course she eats all her food - but Mia will also sit nicely while her dinner is being prepared. Foster mom says that while waiting for her food, if she asks her if shes ready to eat, Mia will stand up on her back legs and turn a complete circle and then sit back down again! She shakes paw and knows sit and stay. Little Mia also sits while you put the leash on her, but she definitely uses her beagle nose on walks and follows it everywhere! Crating her does not appear to be a problem and she will go in the crate when you tell her to. This little girl is perfect for a home that wants an adult, well behaved dog to love!
