BENNIE HAS A SLEEPOVER SCHEDULED WITH A POTENTIAL ADOPTER!

Meet gentle Bennie! This 5 ½ year old beagle has a sensitive soul and his little heart really wants to love. Bennie's calm and meek personality allows him to do super well with other dogs. He is not much of a romper, but has been persuaded a few times by other dogs to join in play. Bennie is quiet and seldom barks, but when he does, it is usually one woof at a time and it is true beagle music. He loves brisk walks, food, treats and he definitely has a beagle appetite. Bennie is housebroken in his foster home and knows how to use a doggie door. He is comfortable in a crate when there is a reason for him to spend time there. Bennie is, of course, neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.

Bennie has diabetes which is controlled with a small amount of insulin (4 units) twice a day.  His foster mom said it is super easy to give in the insulin injections even for a peron who has never done it before. If you are a good shopper the cost of the insulin & syringes should be about $30 a month.
