GEORGE IS ON A SLEEPOVER WITH A POTENTIAL ADOPTER!

George is a handsome Beagle boy from Louisiana. He is long and lean and a little on the skinny side with beautiful, soulful eyes. He has gorgeous long brown ears and his all mahogany red face and ears almost give him a bit of a setter look! We are working hard to help him gain some weight but George is an active little guy who almost seems to still have a lot of puppy in him, and he is quite playful. We're sure he'll put on a few pounds over time. He gets along super well with all the other dogs in his foster home and enjoys playing with toys and running a top speed around the yard - and by the way, if he's in a yard he will need a good 5 to 6 foot fence. But George can have his mellow side and also enjoys a little nap on the bed or some cuddling in your lap! He really enjoys affection and is gentle and friendly. George eats his meals and sleeps at night in his crate. He is also crated when the family leaves.He does get pretty excited about squirrels and meal times but overall is not a dog who barks a lot. He has learned to use the doggie door in his foster home, does pretty well at coming when called and will sit for a treat. He's still wants to eat the other dogs' treats too - but we are working on that! 

Little George needs a forever family to love him and nurture his sweet spirit.
